When your mind is healing from trillions of things, you’ll sometimes find yourself lost and stuck in your mind. Healing takes time. It’s different for each individual. It’s better not to expect everyone to understand your healing process. People will complain that they can’t reach out to you. You won’t be able to attend a close friend’s event even if you want to, because you’re stuck in your mind and need healing. It is alright. You are allowed to take your time and take your space. You need time to process so many things in you before you show up anywhere else. Take your time. You don’t need to force yourself to go out there when you don’t feel like it. It’s ok as long as you are not putting a full stop on things you should be doing. Remember the importance of not stopping in life. Being an active person is important to stay physically and mentally fit. Exercise. Take a walk every day. Eat healthily. If you’re doing a job, attending classes, feeling physically and mentally well; you’re doing a great job. Keep going. Maintain your pace. You’re just not always in a position to put yourself in places where you don’t feel like being at that moment. No one is. Forgive yourself if you promised a friend a day out but couldn’t make it. Do not let anyone make you feel low about yourself. Heal. If your close ones truly care about you, they’ll understand what you go through. They want the best for you as well. You also need to keep in mind that loved ones matter. A friend, a family member should be prioritized. So, make sure you communicate. Let them know you are not feeling yourself lately.
